Sonic Spectrum hails from Wilmington, NC and powerfully delivers an eclectic mix of funk, rock, pop & soul. Mike Lewis (lead vocals) presents an impressive range, accurately recreating Al Green, Prince, Axel Rose and Rick James just to name a few. Guitarist, Jonathan Easterlin (AKA “Juan Solo”) adds to the band’s diversity with funky rhythms, crushing riffs and shredding guitar solos, making guitar parts from Van Halen, Ozzy and Journey look easy. Benjamin Baldwin (drums) holds down a tight and heavy groove through many favorites by James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Sublime, Billy Idol, Adele and many more acclaimed artists.

Mike Lewis has been singing since age six. He played Carnegie Hall in high school, and performed with the Virginia Symphony during his college years.
No stranger to the stage, he has taken home 1st prize in several singing competitions throughout the years: for example, Wild Wing Cafe’s Rock Idol contest in 2011.
Mike has shared the stage with Agent Orange, 38 Special, Jefferson Starship and now with the Millenia Funk’n as their lead singer for over 3 years.

“Double Bass” Ben has been writing, performing, and teaching music for piano, guitar, bass, and percussion for over 20 years.
Focusing on percussion, he graduated with a performance degree from East Carolina University in 2006, where he met guitarist Jonathan Easterlin on the drum line in 2001.
He has served as a drum line captain, private lessons instructor, orchestral/theater percussionist, and a funk/rock/metal drummer, spending countless hours in live performance, personal practice and education.
Jonathan has been a musician since age five, practicing multiple instruments extensively. Though electric guitar is his main focus, his background includes East Carolina University School of Music, ECU’s drum line and a National Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence.
